Eyes to See!

Have you got good eyes? (Let the children respond).  And can you see through brick walls? (Let the children respond).   And what about through the ceiling?  Can any of you stand on top of the roof and see through the ceiling what your brother or sister are doing? (Let the children respond).

Well, did you know that God and Jesus can see through walls and roofs and ceilings, and can even see in your heart!  Does Jesus know what you are thinking? (Let the children respond).  Yes, He knows our every thought.

I See You!

One day Jesus met a man called Philip and said to him, "I want you to follow Me."  Philip was pleased and so he went and found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the One that Moses wrote about and His name is Jesus of Nazareth."

"Nazareth!  Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" asked Nathanael.  "Why don't you come and see," replied Philip.  And so the two friends went and searched for Jesus.  When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching He said, "Here is a true man of Israel."

Nathanael's Surprise!

Nathanael was very surprised and gasped, "How do you know me?"  Jesus smiled as He answered, "I saw you while you were still sitting under the fig tree before Philip called you."  Nathanael could not believe his ears and exclaimed, "Teacher, You are the Son of God and You are the King of Israel."

Nathanael could not understand how Jesus could have seen him so far away.  But, Jesus did see him and knew that he was a good man.

Jesus Always Sees Me!

When Mommy and Daddy are busy and you can't see them, can Jesus see you?  (Let the children respond).  Yes, Jesus is with you.  You can't see Jesus, but He is always watching over you.   Jesus always sees every girl and boy!

When you are riding in a car, working at school, or playing outside, does Jesus alway sees you?  (Let the children respond).  Yes, He does and He is watching over you.

Jesus never Sleeps!

What about when you go to sleep at night and it's very dark in your room.  Is Jesus still with you and watching over you?   (Let the children respond).  Yes, He does because Jesus never sleeps and said, "I am with you always!"

And so when you wake up in the morning, Jesus is still with you and is watching over you!  Jesus also said that He would never leave us.

Jesus Answers Prayers:

Jesus is always is watching over you, and knows and sees every girl and boy!  He is also listening, and knows your thoughts, hopes and fears.  He knows what you need before you even ask Him!  And He is pleased to answer your prayers and wants to guide you and help you grow up to be a good person who loves God with all of your heart.

We love Jesus and He loves each one of us very dearly.  Let's remember to say every day, "Jesus always sees me!"  Let's say that together now, "Jesus always sees me!" (Let the children respond).

God bless!
