Mask Plays |

Application:Masks make it fun for children to act the characters in the Bible story. Materials Needed:
Cardboard paper plates. Memory Verse:
"God gives us all things to enjoy" Age Group:Preschool to Grade 2.

Making the Masks:
Help the children cut out holes in paper plates for their eyes, nose
and mouth. Attach a length of thin elastic to holes made on
the sides of the plates. This should be just long enough to
slip over the childrens heads and hold the mask in place.
They can then colour in and decorate their plates to make a Bible character or animal. Slip the elastic over their heads and they will be the character you give them.
Story Presentation:
If will be fun for the children to make a mask and then learn the
story. They can then interact and role play the scenes from
the story they have learned.
Alternately if time is short, you could tell the story while they act out the parts of the story characters. God bless!
