Introduction:

Today we are going to make cards for Mother's Day.  They are going to be very special because you are going to write a message for Mommy inside your card.  And then I want you to make a flower or another picture from paper spirals which you will glue onto the cover of your card.

I will show you how to make spirals by wrapping strips of thin card around a pencil.  Arrange the spirals on the cover of the card and make a flower or any other picture you would like to make.  Now put a little glue on the underside of one of the spirals and stick it onto the cover of the card.  Now do this for the rest of your spirals to finish your picture.

He made Me Beautifully!

You have made some very pretty pictures and they remind us of how God made each one of us.  And He did a good job too!  Our memory verse says, "God made everything beautiful" (Ecclesiastes 3:11).  Next time you look into a mirror, say to yourself, "God made me special, and He made me beautifully!

God bless.
