No Room for Jesus!

Christmas time is coming soon and we always think about Jesus being born in a stable because there was no room for Mary and Joseph in the inn.  Jesus came from Heaven to be born as a baby and grew up to become our Saviour.  Because of Him, we will go to Heaven when we die one day and live there for ever and ever!

If you lived long ago when Jesus was born, it was cold and I'm sure you would have wanted to give Him one of your blankets.  We are going to make a picture showing Baby Jesus sleeping nice and warm under a blanket.  I want each of you to glue a picture of a baby onto a sheet of cardboard and then glue on a piece of material as a "blanket"  We will write, "Baby Jesus Asleep" at the top of the cardboard sheets.

Jesus Sleeping:

Now you are finished, let's learn our memory verse which says:

"Mary wrapped Baby Jesus in cloths and placed Him in a manger,
because there was no room for them in the inn." (Luke 2:7).

Let's say that again and then we will close our eyes and say, "Thank You" to Jesus for making a special place in Heaven for us.  And we will go there one day!

God bless.
