Making the Card:

Copy the Jesus Loves You Card pattern onto thin white card.
Fold on the central dotted line and then on the vertical dotted line.
With your help they must then pierce the centre holes with straight pin.
Let the children then colour in the card as they wish.
A greeting could then be added if the card is for a friend or relative.

Memory Verse:

"I have loved you with an everlasting love" (Jeremiah 31:3).

Age Group:

Preschool to Grade 2.

Introduction:

God asked, "Who will go and save the people that I have made?" Jesus answered, "I am willing go and love them, and then die for them, so that they can live with us in Heaven forever." God's reply was, "I loved the world so much, that I gave My one and only Son, that whoever believes on Him, will have everlasting life!"

Know what? Guess what I know! You will never guess it - it's a secret! Want to know what it is? You can tell everybody the secret! I'll tell you ... (whisper) Jesus loves you, and that's the Good News!

Today we are going to make a card which you can keep, or you can write a greeting in it for a friend or a relative. The card says, "Know What?" You need to write, "Jesus" over "Loves You". Colour in your cards while we learn our memory verse:

"I have loved you with an everlasting love" (Jeremiah 31:3).

It will remind us that it's Jesus who loves us so much!
