Look Who is Growing Me!
As we come to the end of the Training Manual can we ask, Teacher, are you
growing? A flower looks excellent, but when you pick it, it is dead.
It has been plucked from the root that nourished it. Jesus said
in John 15:5 that we are branches and that each of us has been grafted into
Him:
"I am the Vine - you are the branches. We grow Spiritually in Jesus:
Are you living in Jesus? What a pity it would be, if we point others to
Heaven and they find Jesus as Saviour, and we are left behind! Jesus
warns us in John 15:4 to:
"Take care to live in Me, and let Me live in you.
"But if you stay in Me and obey My commands, God gives us Spiritual Power:
Children see our attitude and if we get excited, this will rub off on them.
If we are growing spiritually by studying the Word, praying and
communing with God, then we will share this and the children will also
grow. We need to let God breathe a vision into our life for our work
in Sunday School. We must be challenged to go on and do the work God
wants us to do.
Zerubbabel had the task of finishing the rebuilding the temple. He was faithful in this and God sent him a message of encouragement:
"Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts.
Finally:
We read in 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 that:
"With this (your growing faith) in mind, we pray constantly for you, God bless! Copyright © Sharon Children's Ministries
