Growing as a Teacher
The Teacher's Commision
Make an acrostic similar to the above image, out of thin cardboard.
In Mark 16:15-16, Jesus commanded us to:
"Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation."The good news is that Jesus saves all who call upon His name. Jesus said that whoever comes to Him, He will never drive away or cast out (John 6:37). Jesus wants us to make disciples (followers), but before they can "COME" to Him, there has to be a "GO".
The card has the the word "SOULS" on it. These souls are the children in your group and their parents and friends. We can expand the word "SOULS" as follows:
S HARING - your love for God with others.
In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus gave the Great Commission:
"Go and make disciples of all nations,
Making disciples involves teaching someone what the Bible says and how to to respond to it. Jesus promised to be with you always, and so you can be assured that He will guide you as you pray for lost souls in your group and share Scriptures with them. Your way to "TEACH THEM" must include:
T ELL - what you know and what Jesus has done for you.
Keep these things in mind, and they will help you to teach and share the Gospel to all the children in your group!
