Faith to Please God

The question is not, "Do I have the right kind of faith?" but rather, "Who are you relying on?" We need to realise that faith is to turn to God and depend on Him with all our trust.

Don't rely on your ability to keep on believing God. Rather rely on God's ability to keep His promises!

Faith in Christ:

Faith in anyone except our Lord Jesus Christ is futile. Many in the world put their trust in their own looks, abilities and strength. The Bible says we can't add to our height, and certainly not to our Salvation. Jesus said that He is the only way to Heaven. I don't know about you, but that's good enough for me. I believe it and like Paul in 2 Timothy 1:12, I have put my trust in Jesus Christ:

"For I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able
to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day."

Why trust, rely and have faith in Jesus Christ? Because:

He is the Creator of the universe (Colossians 1:15-16)
He is all-knowing (John 16:30)
He is all-powerful (John 5:19)

Trusting Jesus:

Jesus was a wise teacher and had the highest principles. He spoke the truth with authority. But most importantly, we must put our faith in Him because Jesus is truly God. Remember, your faith is not to trust in your abilities to control your destiny or improve yourself. It is to place your faith in Jesus Christ. Only then will you have the right kind of faith. Rely totally on Him all the time.
