Walking with my light for all to see ...

Somebody is at Home:

You don't have to be a huge search light to shine for Jesus and please Him.  I have a miniature torch here ( Show the tiny torch and shine it in the children's faces ).   It's small but it shines brightly.  At night you would be able to see it shining from a great distance away from you!

"Let your light shine before men, that they may see
your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).

Here are six steps to help us become lights that shine brightly for Jesus:

Ask Jesus to forgive all our sins and failures.

Ask Jesus to come into our hearts and change us into God’s child.

Try to please Jesus in everything we do - W.W.J.D?

Pray every morning and read a passage from the Bible.

Ask Jesus to help us to be kind to others and treat them with respect.

Ask Jesus to forgive us when we fail and help us be more caring next time.

There is a song that goes:

"This little light of mine,
I'm gonna let it shine!"

Often people will see that you love Jesus even if you don't say anything! They see how you act and behave, and this tells them that you are different because the love of Jesus shines out of you.  You won't see this in a mirror, so don't worry.  Just be determined that you want to do your best for Jesus and let your little light shine.  The Holy Spirit will do the rest and you will be a shining light wherever you go!

God bless!
