Never Late:
I have brought my alarm clock to the meeting as I was worried that
I would be late. But, as you see, I was on time!
Have you been praying recently and you feel that God is far away?
Perhaps He is too busy to hear your prayers. Or may be
He is behind this month, and the answer to your prayers is late in
coming. Is this true?
No it's not! God is never late. The Bible tells us that
God not only hears our prayers, but He knows what we are going to
ask before we even pray it:
"Before I speak a word You know what I am going to say"
(Psalm 139:4)>
All the Time:
Jesus told us to ask and it will be given to us. We also need
to seek God and by knocking on His door in prayer. Jesus said
that the door will be opened to us. That means God will hear
our prayers and answer us in His way, all the time:
"How much more will your Father in Heaven give good gifts to those
who ask Him!" (Matthew 7:10).
On Time:
What can we learn from my clock? It needs to be set to the
correct time. I also need to set the alarm so that I will
get up in good time to go to work. And then I will be on
time so I will not get into trouble with my boss!
What about God? He created time and not only that, He promised
to meet our every need. The Apostle Paul says:
"And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in
glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19)."
Well, my clock says my time is about up. What about God you
say? He is "On Time" in answering your prayers. In fact
He is never late, but He is always "On Time, In Time, All the Time,
Every Time!" Think about it.
God bless!
