We all have tempers and when other people upset us, we can blow up ( Light the candle and take a balloon and blow it up ).  It's just like this balloon that is full of hot air when I put it over a hot flame.  Wow!   That was really a great temper explosion wasn't it?

Now I have another balloon that is filled with water.   When we ask Jesus to come into our hearts, He fills us with His living water.  This is the power of the Holy Spirit which changes our lives, so that we want to serve Jesus with all of our hearts and please Him in all we do.

I'm going to hold this balloon over the flame and see if it will blow up ( hold it there until the balloon is black with soot ).  You see this balloon did not blow up because the water kept it cool.  And when people make us cross, instead of blowing up, the Living Water that Jesus puts into our lives us keeps us cool.

Let's pray and ask Jesus to keep on changing our hearts and lives until we are able to keep cool when people make us angry, tease or aggravate us.
