Watchman Nee, the Chinese evangelist said, "Christianity is a queer business.  If at the outset we try to do anything, we get nothing.  If we seek to attain something, then we miss everything.  For Christianity begins, not with a big "DO", but with a big "DONE"!

Only by continuing to rely on Christ and what He has done, and by abandoning trusting in our own works, can we go on in the Christian life and experience joy.

I have all the ingredients here to make a cake for you.   Unfortunately, we don't have time to "DO" that!  In the same way it is no use just listening to me each week.  You have to hear and see, and and then do what the Bible says.  Let's see what has been done in my life:

D = Jesus is Divine as my God, Lord and Saviour.
O = Jesus is the only One who can save me.
N = Jesus keeps me Near to my Heavenly Father.
E = Jesus give me Eternal Life.

Has He done all this for you?  Oh, what have we here?   It's that cake I brought.  Aren't you glad that it's "DONE" and we will be able to eat it after Sunday School!   It will remind you what Jesus has "DONE" for each one of you!
