Today's Message

To love God, we must first acknowledge that He is God Almighty, and that He created the Heavens and the Earth, and all that is in them.  And that He made each of us in His own image.  In Psalm 139:14a David says:

"I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

And so we come to the realisation that we are children of God!  And that Jesus, the Son of God, is not only our big Brother, but also our Best Friend and our Loving Saviour!  Proverbs 1:7 tells us that:

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge."

What can this mean to me?  It teaches us to have great respect and reverence for God.  When we think of the fact that we are mere specks in this vast universe, then we need to bow in worship and say: "Father, You are my God and King of my heart, soul and mind".

Dear friend, what is your standing with God today?  Is He truly your Lord and your King?  Does He rule over all your life?  I pray that you will surrender your life and allow Jesus to come into your heart and bring love, joy and peace to your soul.
