Traffic Light Competition

Materials:

Make a number of sets of three circles from thin card and write a number of memory verses on these. Each Traffic Light (robot) consists of two halves of a verse and its reference. These are written on red, yellow and green circles respectively.

The Competition:

Mix up the discs and give one disc to each child in your group. When you say "Go", the children run around and seek the other circles to complete their Traffic Light. The winner is the team who can put their verse together first and then say it from memory. You can repeat this many times over several weeks until the children have learnt all the verses!
