Making the Key Set:
- Print out a copy of the ten keys on coloured card or thin cardboard
for each child.
- Have the children cut out the keys and cut or punch holes in the handles.
- String the key set on a yarn loop or slip them onto a large keyring,
preferably of the opening type.
- The children can optionally colour in and decorate their keys.
Treating Others:
Jesus said that we must love one another even as He loves us. If we do
this then everybody we meet and interact with, will know that we are Jesus'
disciples. Loving other people shows that we are Christians.
The ten keys are to show each Christian child how they need to behave with,
and to other people, including their parents, teachers, pastor, friends and
peers.
When they have completed their key sets, have a discussion with the children
as to how they will put in practice each of their key phrases and under which
circumstances. They can then take them home as reminders of how they
are going to show love and treat other people in the future.
God bless!
