Christian Growth Plaque

Today's Craft:

Here's a Christian Growth plaque craft to remind children that they need to grow in Christ.

Materials Needed:

Sheets of A4 white thin card.
Printed out copies of the card pattern below.
Corrugated cardboard.
Printed out copy of the plaque stand below.
Scissors.
Coloured crayons or paints.

Making the Plaque:

Print out a copy of the plaque and the stand for each child.
Copy the plaque stand onto corrugated cardboard and cut it out.
Fold the stand along the dotted line, and open it partially so that it will support the plaque.
Let the children cut out the plaque and colour it in any colours they desire.
Place the completed plaque on the easel.

Memory Verse:

Luke 2:52, "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and men."

Introduction

The Bible tells us in Luke 2:52 that Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and men. I am sure that every boy and girl who loves Jesus and has asked Him to live in their hearts, would love to hear God say this about their lives.

Today we are going to make Christian Growth plaques to remind you that you need to grow in Christ. I want you to make the plaque and its stand and keep it on a cupboard or shelf where you will see it every day. It's a prayer that you can read every day when you get up and before you go to bed:

"Lord help me to grow, so my friends will know
that You are my Saviour and that I love You!"
