It's good when you go out of your way to build up someone.
How many people do you know who always encourage people, and never
say a negative or bad word about someone? Can other children
say this about you?
God wants us to rather seek to build others up by what we say and do.
We need to show kindness and love, rather than being nasty
and unkind. Ephesians 4:29 says:
"Let no bad words come out of your mouth,
but only what is good for buildling up others."
A kind word is like the oil that takes the friction out of an engine
and makes every part run smoothly. The gears mesh together to
turn the wheels, and oil is needed so that they turn easily and
freely. Everyday when we interact with people, it is like a
set of gears.
With no oil the gears grind and groan. Friendships without
caring and kindness do the same and breakdown, and our
relationships with others crumble like a run-down building.
Make sure you build each other up by sharing a skyscraper of love,
kindness and affection!
Remember what Ephesians 4:31-32 says:
"Let all bitterness, wrath and anger be put away from you;
and
be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other,
even as God also in Christ forgave you."
God bless!
