When being chased by the Egyptians and faced with water they were unable to cross, Exodus 14 tells how Moses reassured the children of Israel.  He called on them to stand firm and watch to see what the Lord would do.

We may find ourselves in desperate circumstances at times, and also need to stand firm and expect God to act.  It's too easy to focus on our problems and be overwhelmed.  God wants us to focus on His resources and strength.  We need to get close to God so that we trust Him, for we know that He will keep us strong and safe until Jesus returns.

We have God's faithfulness that ensures that none of His resources will be taken away from us.  Like the people of Israel, we also need to stand firm, keep focussed on God and expect Him to make us a path through the sea of our circumstances.
