Jesus wants not only our hearts, but all of us!

A boy kneeling at the cross is shown. The picture is opened up to show two boys and a
heart. One boy decides it is too much to give up. He is cut off
the cross as he goes back into the world. The other boy gives his heart
to Jesus and this is glued to the cross.
(Cut out the heart and hide it behind the picture
). One day
Jesus was walking down the road after He had finished teaching and blessing
the children. (Cut out the rest of the picture but do not unfold
). A rich young ruler ran up to Jesus and fell on his knees.
(Display the man kneeling at the cross
). "Teacher," he
asked, "What must I do to inherit eternal life?"
Jesus answered, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God

This man came to the cross and so must we. Open up the picture and show
both kneeling figures, but keep the heart hidden). All of us have

The rich young ruler said,"No, the cost is too great!" (Cut off the

). He went away and never went to Heaven.
But many boys and girls said, "Yes, Jesus come and live in my heart!
They gave their hearts to Jesus, so I am going to glue this heart onto the
cross. And then I am going to write "My Name" on the heart to include
all of you that have given your hearts to Jesus!
But, some of you may need to give your hearts to Jesus. Are you ready to
give Him your heart today? I pray that God will draw you closer to Him
until you decide, "I want to give my heart to Jesus."
